Tricia Yu is an Associate. She specialises in multi-jurisdictional commercial disputes, corporate insolvency and probate matters. Tricia has a strong financial background and draws on her solid analytical skills in representing clients in complex financial investigations and disputes.
Tricia has represented local and international insolvency practitioners. She has experience handling investigations on and bringing large-scale claims on behalf of liquidators, including claims arising from corporate collapse and insolvency, such as professional negligence, breach of directors’ duties and misappropriation of assets.
She has also represented corporate and individual clients in complex commercial litigation and international arbitration (HKIAC) involving breach of contract, shareholder disputes, debt recovery and contentious probate matters.
Tricia had a prior career in the financial sector specialising in asset management. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics.
Tricia is dual qualified in Hong Kong and England and Wales. She is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

Assisted in advising a Hong Kong company on the recovery of a debt of HK$70 million, including an application for a summary judgment.
Late tycoon’s estate
