On 20 October, Karas So LLP's Raymond Shek attended the opening ceremony of the Hong Kong Legal Walk which was held at the HKIAC. The Hong Kong Legal Walk aims to unite the legal profession in the common causes of charity and service to the local community. Funds this year will go to Mind HK, The Eye Fund, Equal Justice and Justice Without Borders.
The ceremony featured a fireside chat at Rede Chambers between The Honourable Mr Justice Robert Tang GBM, SBS, JP, Non-Permanent Judge of the Hong Kong Court of Final Appeal and Angel Wong, Vice Chair of the Hong Kong Legal Walk. The attendees included Victor Dawes SC, Chairman of the Hong Kong Bar Association; Mariel Dimsey, Secretary General of HKIAC; Jonathan Bell, Founder of Hong Kong Legal Walk; and other representatives from Equal Justice, Gall Solicitors, HKIAC, Hong Kong Legal Walk, Justice Without Borders, Maples Group, Mind HK and Rede Chambers.
