On 17 October 2023, we hosted an interactive event during the Hong Kong Arbitration Week titled "Keeping it in the Family - Arbitration for Billionaires". It was moderated by our partner, Jonthan Mok and we were honoured to have the presence of a distinguished panel comprising Mairead Rattigan SC, Jern-Fei Ng KC, Derek Lai of Deloitte and our Mishcon de Reya LLP partner, Janet Tobin. We had a captivating audience both in person and online. This event provoked interesting discussions on how best to assist billionaires and UHNW families in navigating their disputes as well as ways to avoid conflicts within the family and for control of family businesses.
